I'm a Lending Product Manager specialised in personal loans, with a degree in Applied Statistics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a master's in Financial Strategy. I've spent over four years in consumer finance, where I've grown from BI intern to Data Scientist and then to my current role. That path has given me a hands-on technical foundation together with a business and product vision.
What I do now
Within the risk and BI department, I lead the cross-sell area for personal loans and I manage a team. I define the roadmap, design segmentation, propensity and risk models, and work with sales, marketing and technology to turn data into commercial decisions. Right now I apply generative AI to build internal tools and automate processes, and I'm deepening my knowledge of Data Science and generative AI for financial products.
Highlights
- Own the cross-sell business plan, with a 2027 target above the plan in place when I joined.
- Automated the monthly customer segmentation for cross-sell campaigns with SQL and Python, significantly cutting processing time.
- Built an internal app with generative AI (Claude) so the sales team can enter campaign information directly, removing manual change requests and reducing errors.
How I work
I learn by building: every idea becomes a small project, with my own examples and without copying course material. I also publish what goes wrong, because it teaches as much as what goes right. Here I collect those projects and notes, starting with my master's in Data Science and generative AI, and they will keep growing with whatever I build next.
